Cafe Sushi in Troy

I visit this place last night and i had a wonderful carry out experience. Rita was very kind and has very great customer service. This was my first time visiting and I will be returning.

Not an authentic Japanese restaurant. The ramen more like a Chinese noodle soup. And the hot tea is not free. No authentic Japanese restaurant would change hot tea.

Great option for fresh and tasty Sushi.

Great food and excellent service.

Good sushi. The sushi regular is a good portion size. The server was helpful, my mom did not want to eat anything uncooked. She was able suggest good alternatives and they accommodated my grandkids and the mess they made very well. This wasn't the first time I was here and it's always consistent.

As a sushi fanatic I decided to give this place a try (as it is near work and has good reviews). It was absolutely awful- I got a Philly roll and I couldn’t even finish it- the salmon was very dark and looked like a bunch of left over pieces thrown into the roll, I expect a nice slice of fish! The salad was gross not even cut up just huge chunks. This place gets two stars because Nicole was great and so was the green tea!

Exceptional spot to eat some food when in a rush. Their customer service is fast, prices are fair, excellent character. I highly recommend this spot.

I highly recommend Cafe Sushi as a lunch spot. The bento box is large and fairly priced. For dinner try and make it in before 6 for sushi happy hour!

Very good sushi place. I haven't tried the bar, but the food was fresh and delicious. Very well prepared. Try the chirashi😊.

Very very slow, however food was pretty good. If you are willing to spend a lot of time waiting and want good sushi this is the place for you.

I'm very satisfied with the service and food quality here, a definite choice for Japanese cuisine in this area. The tonkatsu was in particular well-made and succulent, and even though the curry was not very spicy, it is rich in taste.

I often take my friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are great and the stuff is generous and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we have a lovely evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Often went to this restaurant when in Michigan....always had a great experience...Have a good collection of sushi, sashimi or even chicken specialities...I love the baked dragon sushi..would definitely recommend for fresh sushi!

It's a hidden gem in Maple Road amongst Walmart and lot other stores. Never knew that there's a clean and coziest restaurant like this living one mile away from it. The food was delicious and craving for more. Nicole, our waitress was so friendly and very knowledgeable about food and drinks. She helped us select our drinks and dessert. She was very happy to answer all our questions without any hesitation. We tried flight of sake(3 flavored sake - lychee, raspberry and peach) and lychee is our favorite. Among the appetizers we chose shrimp tempura, jalapeño calamari and spicy California roll. Calamari was served with slightly grilled which added to its taste. And finally for the dessert Nicole suggested Mochi ice cream. Outer layer is chewy and inside is filled with three flavors matcha, mango and lychee. We will be frequently visiting this place and I strongly recommend this place.

First time eating here , really enjoyed the Aviance as well as the food. The food was well seasoned, didn't need soy sauce. Service was fast and friendly. Food was authentic Japanese. Somewhat pricey but and the atmosphere was warm ,cozy, and relaxing.

Good sushi and great service, can't go wrong here. Second time eating and both times I left satisfied

excellent service. What I ordered was not what I expected in the immediately took it back and custom made a perfect meal for me. Also brought out a special dessert for my twins birthday. Wonderful experience

We tried the salmon crunch, and philly rolls and the veggie max specialty rolls. All were delicious! The veggie max rolls unexpectedly came with a mound of veggies in a mustard type sauce on top of the rolls so it was a large portion. Between two of us, we polished off the rolls but that left no room for dessert but I will go back again for sure!

Delicious curry, not very spicy but they have ramen spices and some horseradish sauce you can mix in to spice it up.

If you are looking for sushi in the Metro Detroit area, this is THE place to go. Tonight was our first time dining here and we ordered the Leslie Roll, Spicy California Roll, and Morning Roll (w/o tobiko). Our server, Drake, was very attentive, helpful, and FAST. Honestly, one of the best servers I have EVER seen. I'd advise you all to come check out this place during Happy Hour and request Drake for great food and great service.

Fantastic! I went as part of a group lunch with 11 other people. They set up a long table for us, and the service was great. The food was beautiful and tasted fantastic. My lunch was $11, and came with my choice of two types of Sushi and a huge bowl of freshly made Ramen. They packed my left over Ramen with the broth separated from the noodles which kept it all very nice for later. This was my first time at a Sushi restaurant and I will go back.

Ordered take out and the sushi presentation was really sloppy. The food made me sick I was throwing up all night. Not to mention we spent over $70 just on the sushi and they couldn’t give us a side of spicy mayo. They have Horrible quality and you might get sick eating there so be careful.

I celebrated my graduation today in this great restaurant. happy to tell that we passed a sensational evening and the restaurant was certainly the reason for the strong gathering. The team helped in a sweet way, the food was appetizing and my friends were very glad. We shall definitely visit again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

Ordered General Tao's, and received a substantial pile of food...and a tiny bowl of rice. Want more rice? That's an extra $1.75. Seriously, that's probably the cheapest thing you sell! No need to be stingy with it.Salad and cocktail was good, as was the service. Just felt I had to dock a star for the rice rationing.

We came here to try a new sushi place and we were very disappointed. The staff is very cold and unhelpful. Our food was gross and overpriced. The smoked salmon here is served raw. The drinks are weak and managment was never seen.

Had an incredible experience here on a Saturday night. Excellent service and super food.

Best spot to get something when in a hurry. Their customer service is swift, prices are reasonable, excellent atmosphere. I highly recommend this place

Sushi was pretty good... for a California roll. But the service was a bit annoying considering the waitress kept getting irritated when I asked for more stuff, I get it girl I’m a little buzzed by let me live. I’m paying for your services. Definitely go to for food but don’t expect great service.

I've gotten carry out and sushi is solid but a tad pricey. Dined in today and had a bento box lunch special and the value was definitely there! Lot's for your money. Nice restaurant too.

If you like tempura shrimp the Reno roll is delicious!
